We all voted for Jana Kramer for New Artist of the Year award. It was announced today that she along with her fiance Brantley have picked up this award. It just proves just how strong her fan base is. Congratulations girl, I’m so proud of you. Hope to see many many more wins in your career. Now let’s have some whiskey!

Talk about a perfect birthday.

Country star Brantley Gilbert received the best gift ever in the form of an enthusiastic “Yes!” when girlfriend, One Tree Hill actress and country singer Jana Kramer, accepted his proposal of marriage in Nashville on Sunday, his 28th birthday.

“We could not be happier!” the couple tell PEOPLE exclusively in a statement from their rep. “We are so excited to share this special time with our loved ones and cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together.”

The couple, who are both nominated in the best new vocalist categories at this year’s ACM awards have been dating about a year.

Gilbert proposed in Nashville at the historic Ryman Auditorium Theater, which he rented out for the day. It is also the site of the former Grand Ole Opry stage, where iconic country couple Johnny Cash and June Carter met.

“I was so surprised!” admits Kramer, 29. “He asked my mom for permission before he proposed, which meant a lot to me.”

I am nothing but happy for our country girl; from the moment we found out she was dating Brantley, I was thrilled. Everythings she’s been through, she really deserves a happy ending.

Jana has announced she will be going on tour with Blake Shelton this Summer and Fall. Can you believe this? One of the biggest guys in country is taking are very own Jana. This year Jana has been nominated for an award. Of course it’s for new female vocalist of the year! She is going against Sunny Sweeney and Kacey Musgraves. Now how can we get Jana to win? Well that’s easy; starting Monday January 21st, 2013 at Noon est, you can vote by going here and here.

Last Friday Jana performed at Joe’s bar in Chicago. The bar has uploaded photos and you can find them in the gallery. There is also a fan filmed video of Jana singing ‘What I love about your love.’

Jana Kramer, known as Alex Dupre on The CW Television Network’s “One Tree Hill” and as a rising country singer, has been named the headliner for REHAB 2013.

Her singles include “Whiskey” and “Why Ya Wanna?” She has been nominated for three American Country Awards — New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year for New Artist and Music Video of the Year for New Artist. The awards show can be seen Monday on KXVA-TV.

The West Texas Rehabilitation Center released the lineup for the Jan. 19 event, which will be at the Abilene Civic Center. Abilene native and Texas country singer Aaron Watson also will perform.

Dan Huggins, WTRC director of donor relations, said Kramer’s appearance at the 43rd annual telethon could help Rehab continue to set records.

“Last year, we raised a record $1.33 million,” Huggins said. “We hope to top that in January. I keep the mindset that we are going to top $1 million. Last year was exceptional.”

Charlie Chase of the “Crook and Chase” talk show on the Nashville Network returns to host the five-hour event.

Also returning are Red Steagall and The Boys in the Bunkhouse, Bill and Susan Hayes from “Days of Our Lives,” Brad Maule (“General Hospital”), who grew up in Camp Springs near Snyder, and local singer Twyla Foreman.

The online auction is also back and opens for bids in late December. Auction items will be on display at the Civic Center beginning at 6 p.m. Jan. 19.

Admission will be $12 per person.
